The Brocks ROCK

Today was our FIRST (of 3) cheerleading competition. The girls competed at The Florida State Fair and competed on the SAME STAGE that Tim McGraw is singing on this summer ~ so with that said ~ it was very intimidating!! I was so proud of all th girls! Kennedy was funny and didn't stick out like a sore thumb with her hot pink cast. They remembered MOST of their routine and did a FANTASTIC job!! The day started for us at 5AM and ended with trophies for everyone and a VERY happy little girl (and a TIRED mommy). Chad was broadcasting live from the State Fair, so after the girls received their trophies, a few of us went over to visit him and the rest of the morning crew and they were able to perform their cheer on the radio!! It was SO fun!! Kennedy only wanted to ride the ferris wheel, so after that, we stopped and got a snow cone and a candy apple and headed home!! Next competition is the end of this month ~ my Mom will be manning that one ~ GOOD LUCK GETTING THAT HAIR CURLED, NINA, I have left you a manual!! Did you know they sell FRIED COOKIE DOUGH at the FAIR!!?
